Computacenter’s annual sales kick-off weekend is held at Celtic Manor and attended by over 400 employees. A key feature of the weekend schedule is the ‘Vendor village’ – the bustling exhibition hall where for Computacenter’s vendors and partners display their stands. Computacenter & IBM asked for our help in creating an attention-grabbing stand to include a competition piece, on-stand game, themed graphics and giveaway items. As the weekend coincided with a six nations fixture at the nearby millennium stadium, a rugby theme was agreed. What made this all the more timely, was that all 400 Computacenter attendees had attended the England / Wales match the night before – we were ‘bang on the buzz’! Our competition prize of England rugby balls became the highly sought after item of the day, guarantying constant traffic to the stand. A final touch was hiring the services of international rugby player, Jason Leonard, to meet & greet and sign merchandise – seen here with Computacenter’s CEO, Mike Norris.
