The familiar household brand, Bisto, has been a British favourite for over 100 years. Best known for their gravies and sauces, Bisto were keen to promote the ways in which their products enhance flavour and save time.
British Pie week is an opportune event for extoling the virtues of creating homemade and fresh family favourites, and highlighting to the caterer the benefits of using Bisto.
Eclipse saw the advantage of following the adage of ‘the proof of the pudding is in the eating’ and so created The British Pie Road-Show. Freshly cooked pies (made by Premiers finest chefs) were served from an authentic ‘market stall’ stand. The familiar Bisto branding would attract the attention of passing caterers, senses aroused by the sight and smell of the delicious mini pies. Supporting promotional literature advised of the further cost saving potential of using Bisto ingredients – that being an incredible 40%!
