Festival of Marketing – AtTask Project Management

Our client, AtTask, selling cloud based project management software, had arranged to have a sizeable presence at this year’s Festival of Marketing. We were asked to Project Manage the 2-day event and oversee the running of the room. After overcoming a few challenges on set-up day, the room came together and carried a very strong and intriguing theme. The theme was ‘villains and superheroes’, as per the company’s most recent marketing campaign.

With eye-catching graphics and a retro arcade feel, the room became a big hit with event attendees, many of whom came back to visit several times! The room had a good-vibe, a place to hangout, shoot some pool, play games and even have your caricature drawn to take home. The AtTask sales team were kept extremely busy talking to visitors about the product, so much so that at times we had a queue of people waiting with their questions.

By day two our reputation had spread, coupled with the fact that we were known as ‘the room with the doughnuts’! These were obviously something of a draw, so several trips were made to purchase more, and avoid disappointing attendees looking for a sweet treat. All very worthwhile, as the popularity of the room and the buzz created lasted right til the end of the final day – great fun and a pleasure to have been asked.
