As a leading provider of convenient payments, through local shops, internet and mobile phones – PayPoint processes around 760 million transactions yearly, on behalf of 6,000 clients and merchants.

PayPoint needed an attention-grabbing campaign to retain and protect their share of the top-up market, with particular focus on EDF pre-pay customers. Retailers would benefit too, with increased footfall and by receiving a percentage of each top-up made.

Eclipse created ‘PayPoint Man’, a comic-strip style superhero, to raise awareness of the PayPoint initiative and the opportunity to win cash prizes. Service user loyalty would be rewarded by competition entry on ‘proof of purchase’, to assist customer retention. The campaign incentive went further by joining forces with PayPoint staff themselves, in support of their local PayPoint store.

PayPoint Man – Mission accomplished!
